IC Information:
Name: Mey-Rin
Fandom: Kuroshitsuji
Timeline:After Chapter 37
Age: over 20's. Doesn't say
Appearance:
Maido | Bad ass Maido
Abilities:
Mey-Rin is an ordinary human. She was gifted with a sharp, far-sighted vision, the ability to see anything in front of her a couple meters away. Her vision is strong enough to the point that she doesn't need a scope on her rifles to shoot her target. Though because of her far-sightedness, she has to wear glasses when working as a maid. Mey-Rin is able to handle any guns and rifles at her disposal.
Personality:
Mey-Rin is a very clumsy maid. One of her bad habits is carrying more items than she can handle at once. They usually all fall. When there was a guest over, she couldn’t relax and missed the cup to pour wine.
However, her clumsiness isn’t the only thing that stands out. Mey-Rin’s expressions and body language are very readable. She jumps easily and blushes when she is close to Sebastian. She is over-emotional, crying and cheering. When she is nervous, she is stiff as a board. Mey-Rin never got used to the social world, so she can be jumpy at times.
There is another side to Mey-Rin she rarely shows, only when doing her real duty. When Mey-Rin takes off her glasses, she is a terrifying woman with a gun. Her klutziness and clumsiness suddenly disappears, replaced with a serious and deadly young woman. Because of her far sighted vision, she and her guns show no mercy when protecting the house. As a maid, it is important for her to keep the manor clean, including any trespassers that means to harm her master, Ciel Phantomhive. She works with Baldroy and Finnian as a security force to the manor.
Even though her clumsiness is her main flaw, she still enjoys her job as a maid and will continue her work with a smile. She is very loyal to the Phantomhive and does her best to please the young master. She is his security and servant, and Ciel has given her a new opportunity in life to enjoy; that was enough to please her. The glasses given to her to help her far sighted vision have since broken, but she does not want to replace them, as they were her first gift. She also respects Sebastian, who teaches her the things she could never learn.
Along with the other servants, Baldroy and Finnian, she is the comic relief in the manor. They were all chosen for the same reason: they all sympathize with and understand their past, and move forward. When the three are together, they plot to make the situation better...or accidentally make it worse. She will try anything that might help or please the young master. This also calls upon Sebastian's glare if the situation worsens.
History:
Once upon a time, somewhere in London, Mey-Rin was dragged to a manor against her will. She was given two tasks to the job: clean the place and take down any intruders that threatened the estate. Mey-Rin gladly took the task along with Baldroy, who is the main chef, and Finnian, who works outside. Only the three servants, Tanaka, a butler, and the young master lived in the mansion.
Mey-Rin had no experience as a maid. In fact, she used to be nothing but a professional sniper because of her far sight ability. Given her new duty as a maid and security, Mey-Rin made the best of it. A new life was given to her and she didn't want to waste this opportunity.
The only task she was given during her stay was to keep the mansion clean. She would study how Sebastian handled situations and hope to do the best at well. Mey-Rin spends most of her time in the manor performing her duties while trying not to trash the place. When she tries too hard she tends to slip up. It soon became a regular occurrence in the mansion.
During the Noah’s Arc Circus act, Mey-Rin’s true nature is revealed. When a group infiltrated the mansion, Mey-Rin brought out her rifles. She defended the mansion along with Badroy and Finnian. Of course, they all got yelled later for the aftermath; she was supposed to take care of it quietly.
